Nasib Elahimehr is a contemporary artist with a focus on exploring cultural identity and the human experience through mixed media. Her work often incorporates elements of traditional Iranian art forms, particularly the ancient technique of mirror mosaics (Āina-kāri). By creating sculptures from mirrors, she aims to reflect the transient nature of life and the interconnectedness of our experiences. Ashley Spencer is a mixed-race interdisciplinary artist with a decade of experience in ceramics, sculpture, and mixed media. Her work showcases her personal perspective on topics such as the Black experience in conversation with hauntology, current issues regarding women’s bodies, and generational grief. Her pieces are often collaborations of different mediums to create explorations of time and material histories.
