Visitor Guidelines + Information
- Wheelchair-accessible entrance to enter/exit the building is located at the 345 Montgomery Street entrance.
- Wheelchair-accessible elevators to use during your visit are located in the back of the first floor level.
- Wheelchair-accessible restrooms are located in the back of the first floor level.
- Service animals only are welcome throughout the museum.
- Exhibition materials in Spanish, Tagalog, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, and Arabic are available at the front desk.

Planning a trip to San Francisco? We encourage you to stay with our partners The Jay, Autograph Collection, just steps from ICA SF and attractions such as the Ferry Building, Chinatown, and the California Street cable cars, with an easy walk to Oracle Park, Union Square and Fisherman’s Wharf.
We have a self-serve coat rack. Please leave large bags or valuables at home when visiting. Backpacks may not be worn on your back; they must be carried by hand (below the waist).
In alignment with Bay Area Public Health guidelines, masks are strongly recommended but no longer required for all visitors, regardless of vaccination status. Masks are available on-site upon request.
Eating and drinking are not allowed in the museum. Sealed food and drink containers are allowed if they are packed away inside a bag.

Only service and support animals are allowed in the museum.
The use of flash photography, tripods, and selfie sticks are not permitted.
