The Poetics of Dimensions, guest curated by Larry Ossei-Mensah, highlights eleven artists who transform everyday objects—durags, shoelaces, felt, leather, single-use plastic—into powerful artistic expressions. Maryam Yousif’s first solo museum exhibition, Riverbend, will debut new large-scale ceramic installations inspired by a young Iraqi blogger in the early 2000s. Spotlight: Kathleen Ryan features a selection of Ryan’s glittering, larger-than-life fruit sculptures that reimagine the detritus of American life.
