Join us on Saturday, February 10th, from 4-6pm for the opening reception for the upcoming CCA Student Spotlight exhibition, featuring work by CCA MFA Fine Arts students Dottie Lo Bue & Jason Stern.

Jason Stern has been exploring the question, “what could ‘art for birds’ look like?” His Poppies sculpture consists of porcelain flowers on flexible metal rods, inspired by the habitats of grassland birds in California.

Dottie Lo Bue’s Question Machine transforms a vending machine into one where visitors can ‘buy’ a question. Her painting Spin emphasizes the strangeness that can be found in the mundane.
